JESSICA STANIS | General Manager

Jessica's passion for weddings began at the early age of 12 when she would read wedding magazines and sketch gown ideas. She developed her expertise on weddings at the College of Charleston, SC while working with the esteemed Calder Clark luxury event planning team. After moving home to northern Virginia, a fateful fete (and a great pair of DVF shoes) brought Carine and Jessica together. Jessica believes bridal stylists work much like matchmakers, finding the right gown, for the right bride, at the right time.

WILLIAM MARTINEZ | Bridal Director

William Martinez II was born in Detroit, Michigan and found a passion for fashion in his youth. William had an early start in his couture career as a costume designer for film and commercial projects. His success in the industry soon brought him to Chicago where he took his talents from fashion to beauty as a global makeup artist with Burberry. William inevitably  found his way back to fashion - but found that bridal combined his talents best and has now been in the industry for almost 10 years. William started at Roma Sposa, then became the buyer/manager at Ultimate Bride in Chicago and has now found his home here in DC at Carine's Bridal. William brings an artful eye to our atelier with exquisite taste and a genuine, humble spirit.

ASHLEY KUCUK | Stylist

Ashley was born and raised in Northern Virginia. Growing up with her dad as a professional hairstylist and mom as a makeup artist, glamor was always a part of her life. In relation to her parents' careers, she found her love of fashion at an early age.  Ashley graduated summa cum laude at  Virginia Commonwealth University - School of the Arts with a BA in Fashion Merchandising. After graduation, she made her move to Philadelphia to work as a merchandiser for URBN - Anthropologie. This is where she had her first encounter with bridal at BHLDN and never looked back. Ashley made the bittersweet decision to move back home, missing a more intimate work setting and to focus her skills on bridal. She started at Ellie’s Bridal Boutique in Alexandria as an assistant manager and eventually made her way to the D.C. area where she found her place at Carine’s Bridal. Ashley has a very warm personality that makes you feel like you're shopping with a friend. She is very attentive, and aims to make the bride's vision of the dress a reality.

BIANCA COMSTOCK | Stylist

Bianca’s love for bridal couture began as a child when she would design wedding gowns at the kitchen table with her grandmother. A few moves within South America and two inspiring years in Paris later, she knew her heart belonged in this industry, and began her career working as a Personal Stylist. She then pursued to graduate Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina with a Retail Management/Fashion Merchandising degree. Although she adored working in Ready-to-Wear, she knew there was something special about Bridal and began her career with Carine's Bridal Atelier. Working in this chic, intimate environment has made her passion for design, details, and making clients feel beautiful grow even more. Bianca continues to flourish within our boutique, and looks forward to making the world a more fashionable place one bride at a time.

GRACE CARLSON | Stylist & Alterations Coordinator

As a Northern Virginia native growing up right outside Washington, D.C, Grace originally planned to pursue a political career, but while studying International Relations quickly realized it was not the path for her. She started spending her weekends helping a family friend who owned a local bridal boutique and almost instantly fell in love with the world of bridal. Grace's love for creative design has flourished into editorial and e-commerce styling, allowing her to travel to New York and California for countless photoshoots featured in multiple publications. Her attention to detail gives her a special set of eyes when it comes to bridal gowns. She is now on year 6 of her bridal career and finds most of her love and passion working closely with the bride and seamstresses in alterations. Grace believes the tailoring process is one of the most important stages of the bride’s dress journey: ensuring the final details are exactly what the bride envisioned for her wedding day.
